March Break Camp 2011  
 
 

Theme for the Week:  Heroes and Villains!      Ages 8 – 13
Monday, March 14th – Friday, March 18th, 2011. 
9:00 am to 4:00 pm

This year’s March Break Camp will offer a variety of Creative Drama activities that are focused on the theme of Heroes and Villains.  Campers will create and play together developing characters and scenes, and participate in Drama games and activities that will build skills in communication, focus and concentration, voice and physical movement.  A final presentation/sharing will take place the afternoon of the final day – Friday, March 18th for an invited audience of friends and family.
We are very excited to have Ms. Eleonore Prokope as our March Break Lead Instructor this year.  She has a wealth of experience with young people and is very excited about working here in Guelph on this unique Heroes and Villains workshop week.  Please see her BIO below.

ELEONORE PROKOPE
Eleanore has worked as a professional theatre artist (CAEA, ACTRA, Dora Nomination for Outstanding Performance) and over the past eight years has been dedicated to teaching and directing.  She has led numerous theatre and drama programs involving large groups (up to 30 students), in summer camps, school workshops, after school programs, and March Break intensives with youth ranging from 10 to 18. Eleonore worked as theatre program director at Centauri Summer Arts Camp from 2001 to 2007 and is also an artist/educator with the Canadian Opera Company.  She works as a core instructor with Globe Theatre's Actor's Conservatory and has led youth workshops and a March Break Program with Soulpepper Theatre in Toronto.
